Admissions :: How to Apply

HOW TO APPLY

Prospective students are encouraged to apply by the last formal application deadline of Monday, August 2, 2010 to ensure a spot for the coming school year, which starts September 11.

Archeworks has a rolling admissions policy meaning that applications are accepted until all spots in the program are filled.

An application for admissions will not be considered complete until the following are received either with this application or together under separate cover:

  • 500 word statement of intent
  • Portfolio of design work, products, writing samples or other appropriate projects.
  • Transcripts for all post-secondary education listed above
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Resume
  • An application fee with check or money order for $30 payable to Archeworks

Archeworks has a rolling admissions policy. If not all 24 spaces are filled by the application deadline, applications will be accepted until the beginning of the school year.

Criteria for Admission
Archeworks seeks students who embrace the Archeworks philosophy of creating design solutions that benefit society and the environment. Applicants with a professional background in design or a personal interest in combining another discipline with design are encouraged to apply. Each class is structured to include a diversity of backgrounds, skills and aptitudes. Archeworks is a non-discriminatory institution and applications are processed without respect to age, race, religion, place of origin, military status or gender.
